The biological father of the child spoke about his relationship with the mother and how he monitored his child’s life, denying any involvement in the abuse.
Revelations about the relationship with 3-year-old Angelos’ mother
The father emphasized that he never abused the child and that during video calls he had with Angelos, he did not notice signs of abuse. The child, he said, appeared happy with his life in Crete with his mother and her partner. “I have regrets and I wish I could turn back time. I wish I had made the right moves to recognize Angelos earlier. I never abused Angelos. I have nothing to hide. I never hit him,” the father stated on the show “Truths with Zina.”
Biological father’s attempt to legally recognize 3-year-old Angelos
The father described that when he went to Oropos to legally recognize Angelos, there were obstacles and tension: “When I went to Oropos to recognize the child, I didn’t hit anyone. I threw my phone down because they wouldn’t let me recognize the child. I last saw the child on December 9, 2023. I was asking to see the child and they wouldn’t let me. There are messages as proof. I had spoken with her when she was in Crete and with her partner. I had seen Angelos and the child seemed happy. I knew they were living in Crete. I insisted on recognizing the child. Then she agreed to let me recognize the child, but later she blocked me everywhere, and then I learned that Angelos had died,” said the child’s father.
