Authorities are examining the possibility of criminal activity following the discovery of a dead man inside his home in Gkyzi at midnight on Sunday. The victim, likely a foreign national, was found dead inside his house under circumstances that are being investigated. Strong police forces arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area while collecting evidence regarding the victim’s identity, while forensic specialists searched for fingerprints and genetic material. At the same time, other officers recorded testimonies from the victim’s neighbors regarding his contacts and behavior, seeking eyewitnesses or ear-witnesses as well as material from security cameras in the area.
Gkyzi: man’s body to be transferred to morgue

A coroner was also present at the scene and conducted a preliminary examination of the area where the man was found dead. The body will be transferred to the morgue this morning for examination to provide a clear picture of the actual causes of death of the unfortunate man.
