A violent incident occurred at Syntagma Square, in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, on Saturday afternoon (13/09), between Israelis and Palestinians. According to Greek police (EL.AS.), five foreign nationals were involved in the altercation: two Israelis (a 30-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man) and three young Palestinians (aged 27, 26, and 25 years old).

The incident resulted in minor injuries to the 29-year-old Israeli man, while all those involved were taken to the Syntagma Police Station. Six plastic flagpoles were found and confiscated from the Palestinian nationals, two of which carried flags.
