An incredible bloody incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, September 11, at the Cemetery of Chalkida, with a young man suffering a head injury. Specifically, for reasons being investigated by the Chalkida Police Department, a young Albanian man attacked and injured a young Greek man in the head with a shovel. The attack reportedly followed some remark made by the victim to the attacker’s underage sister. Subsequently, the victim’s father, who works professionally in the Cemetery area, upon seeing his son injured, attacked the other family, causing damage to their vehicles. The young man was transported by private vehicle to Chalkida Hospital, where he remained overnight for treatment.

Chalkida: Two families file mutual complaints after cemetery fight
The final result was that both families filed mutual complaints, with a total of seven people ending up at the police station, including the underage daughter of the first family.
However, they were released on verbal orders from the prosecutor, although the case file remains active and includes – depending on the case – charges of dangerous bodily harm, simple bodily harm, insults, and destruction of property.
