A traffic accident occurred yesterday afternoon in Ios, when a motorcycle veered off course on the provincial road from Kampos to Chora of Ios under circumstances that remain unknown, resulting in the death of the 29-year-old rider.

Specifically, the 29-year-old foreign rider was critically injured when his motorcycle veered off the road and overturned, according to cyclades24.gr. An ambulance from the National Emergency Medical Service rushed to the scene and the victim was subsequently transported to the Ios Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.
It should be noted that a case file is being prepared by the Ios Police Department, while investigations are being conducted to determine the exact causes and circumstances under which the accident occurred.
