Primer Music Festival 2025 at OAKA
The renowned Primer Music Festival, ranked 42nd globally by the prestigious DJ Mag magazine, returns with a bang on September 6-7. Hosted at OAKA for the first time, it presents an impressive lineup featuring 16 international artists. The big surprise is the return of legendary Faithless after fifteen years of absence. The festival also hosts top representatives of the contemporary electronic scene, including Armin van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, Alesso, ARTBAT, AMÉMÉ, Purple Disco Machine, and Paul Kalkbrenner.
Roads Festival: New event at Architektoniki
The new Roads Festival makes its debut from September 5-7 at the “Architektoniki” venue, after originally being scheduled for Petra Theater. This groundbreaking three-day festival aims to connect alternative musical sounds, electronic expressions, and traditional elements. The program includes bands like Mora sti Fotia, MAZOHA, Fundracar, Covenant, Thrax Pankc, and Kadinelia, creating a celebration that unites different generations and cultural expressions.
Film premieres with “Caught Stealing”
Award-winning director Darren Aronofsky presents his new creation “Caught Stealing,” a gangster adventure completely different from his Oscar-winning “The Whale.” The film is based on the novel “Caught Stealing” and unfolds in 1990s New York. The protagonist is a former talented baseball player (Austin Butler) enjoying a quiet daily routine until simple cat sitting involves him in dangerous adventures with gangsters who consider him the wrong target.
Skybar events with panoramic views
The top rooftop of Deos Athens on the 25th floor hosts an exceptional Full Moon Party on Saturday, September 6. Renowned DJ Alexandros Christopoulos returns to the Athens skybar from 8 PM to 1 AM, offering a unique experience with 360-degree panoramic views from the city’s tallest building. The evening combines September’s full moon with selected music and stunning urban views.
Meanwhile, Bolivar Beach Club welcomes international artist Trym on Friday, September 5, known as Sparkling Water Boy and founder of COLOR. His signature sound combining fast techno with new trance promises an explosive evening full of energy, accompanied by Christian Cambas and Steve Sai.

The traditional Book Festival celebrates its 53rd edition at Pedion tou Areos from September 5-21. This year’s central theme focuses on children with the title “Child and Reading: With a book I discover the world.” Through innovative activities and interactive discussions, the event encourages younger generations to explore the magical world of reading.
