Authorities investigating possible connection to begging ring
Police investigations are ongoing to determine exactly what happened. In fact, one of the possibilities being examined is a connection to a begging ring.
The case is reminiscent of the incident with the baby found in a black bag next to a garbage bin in Alimos, when security camera footage from a supermarket in Omonia showed a man holding the child.
