A violent incident occurred in Mykonos, when a group of Italian tourists clashed outside a well-known restaurant, causing scenes of chaos in the island’s center.

Specifically, the incident was captured on video, which shows minute by minute the fierce confrontation, with drunk young tourists and police officers who rushed to restore order as the main protagonists. The tension began from an argument between two groups of Italians, which quickly escalated into an exchange of punches and shoves.
Police forces that arrived at the scene attempted to prevent escalation, but found themselves facing the unpredictable reaction of the tourists. Not only did they not comply with orders, but they reacted aggressively, throwing punches even at the police officers.
After a few minutes of intense confrontation, the police managed to control the situation, immobilizing the protagonists of the incident. The Italian tourists were led away in handcuffs to the Mykonos Police Station, putting an end to an incident that caused great disturbance in the area.
