Grief and sorrow were the dominant emotions at the funeral of 86-year-old Titika Vasilopoulou, who lost her life in a traffic accident on Akti Dymaion street in Patras on Friday evening, when she was struck by a motorcycle. She was with an 8-year-old girl, for whom she became a “shield” to save the child’s life from the reckless driver.
The child was injured and according to her grandmother is in a poor psychological state. The funeral took place at the Holy Church of Saint Gerasimos, where people who knew her bid farewell with sadness and emotion, expressing only the kindest words.

Patras: “Where is grandma,” asks the 7-year-old
The child’s grandmother, Maria Angelopoulou, speaking to reporters, said that the little girl constantly says “a motorcycle is coming at me” and asks where is grandma?
Meanwhile, the girl’s father was devastated, breaking down in tears.
He revealed, as reported by tempo24.news, that his daughter still doesn’t know the truth and has been told that grandma Titika is seriously injured and hospitalized in another hospital.
