A dangerous criminal who authorities believe is the right-hand man of the notorious “Edik” – the mastermind accused of orchestrating multiple murders within the “Greek Mafia” – has been arrested by police officers from the Extortion Unit in Aspropyrgos. The suspect is considered the “right hand” of the man believed to be currently hiding in the United Arab Emirates, known as “Edik”.
This particular mobster, according to police sources, is allegedly behind a series of murders, including those of Yannis Skaftouros, Vangelis Zamounis, Vasilis Roubetis, and Dionysis Mouzakitis. These killings appear to have been ordered as part of an attempt to seize control of illegal tobacco and petroleum product trafficking operations.
The man arrested in Aspropyrgos had established a criminal organization behind bombing attacks, thefts, assaults, and other serious crimes. Police officers had been shadowing him for considerable time, monitoring his every move and intercepting his phone communications. An arrest warrant from the investigating magistrate was required before proceeding with the apprehension of this dangerous criminal, who has been completely uncooperative with police officers. His arrest took place earlier today at noon in Aspropyrgos following a well-organized operation. Mobile phones and electronic devices seized during the arrest will be transferred to Criminal Laboratories for analysis, as they may reveal details about illegal activities that have taken place in our country and remain unsolved to this day.
