An shocking incident took place at a company in Pallini, with a 43-year-old man accused of placing a hidden camera in the women’s restroom at his workplace. The 43-year-old was arrested in the early morning hours of Monday, August 18th in the Nikaia area by officers from the Pallini Crime Investigation Department, charged with violating data protection legislation and possession of child pornography material.
The 43-year-old company employee in the Pallini area was arrested following a complaint received by the local Crime Investigation Department, according to which he had placed a hidden recording device (camera) with the purpose of illegally filming the women’s restroom at the company.
Child pornography material found at 43-year-old’s residence
During a search conducted at the 43-year-old’s residence, digital devices (computers, mobile phones) and digital storage media (external hard drives, memory cards) were found and confiscated, which contained child pornography material, as well as video footage from the aforementioned recording device.
The arrested individual was brought before the competent prosecutor along with the case file against him.
