An extremely dangerous incident occurred on the Kozani-Ptolemaida road, as a car was driving the wrong way. According to kozanimedia.gr, the driver was arrested following immediate calls to the Eordaia Traffic Police.

The same media outlet reports that everything happened at 7:30 AM on Wednesday (27/8), as stunned drivers traveling on the closed Kozani-Ptolemaida road saw a small, yellow vehicle driving against traffic in the lane toward Kozani, but heading in the direction of Ptolemaida. Dozens of calls were made to Traffic Police and eventually the car’s driver was arrested at the entrance to the city of Ptolemaida.
The driver faces charges for dangerous driving. According to information from kozanimedia.gr, the woman claimed she panicked because she needed to get to Bodosakeio Hospital for a serious health issue concerning a relative.
