Therefore, flights scheduled for 28/08/25 will not be affected.”
ADEDY’s call to action
“The Executive Committee of A.D.E.D.Y., in response to the introduction to Parliament’s plenary session for voting on the legislation for the new anti-worker Disciplinary Law for public employees on Thursday August 28, declares a nationwide strike for this day and calls on public sector workers in the greater Athens area to be present at the protest gathering that will take place at Syntagma at 10:00am.
We stand against the attempted criminalization of trade union, social and political action, their equation with common criminal law offenses, the abolition of the second-degree Disciplinary Council and the right of appeal, the change in composition of Disciplinary Councils by removing representatives of workers and judges, the extremely large fines, etc.
We demand the withdrawal of the legislation. We call on ADEDY’s regional departments throughout the country to proceed with similar actions on this day, organizing strike mobilization.”
