«I loved my wife excessively, pathologically, I didn’t plan to kill her or hurt her, I only wanted to scare her with what I took in my hands,» the 40-year-old perpetrator who killed his wife in Volos on Friday told Mega TV. It should be noted that the perpetrator requested and was granted a postponement to testify tomorrow, Tuesday at 10:00 AM, while he is being prosecuted for premeditated murder of a victim of domestic violence.
«I became enraged, I lost my mind, my brain shut down when she told me that the child she lost wasn’t mine and that she would send me photos and videos with her new partner. My suspicions were confirmed. The trouble started after Easter. A third person destroyed our lives,» he added on the Live News show.
“I wish I could turn back time”
«I have regretted it, I think about my children, what will become of them, I wish I could turn back time, I wanted to harm myself. I worked hard for my family and had absolute trust in her, but on TikTok and Facebook she was communicating with another man and her behavior changed completely. I tried many times to save my marriage, we only had verbal episodes, I never raised my hand. I love my children excessively and I ask for their forgiveness,» the 40-year-old perpetrator continued.

The daughter of the perpetrator who murdered his wife and her mother in front of her eyes told the same show that the 40-year-old’s pathological jealousy led him to the heinous act.
- What happened?
- They fought because my father was extremely jealous for that reason.
- Hadn’t they fought before?
- They had, but not like this. We were fine. Lately he started construction work. He worked normally. He was normal. He didn’t shout or drink, nothing like that. It only started because of jealousy and that’s why he did it.
The 36-year-old’s daughter then described everything that happened on the day of the murder:
- Were you present?
- Yes. My mother was screaming «help, help» and he did it quickly and left. I saw everything, when he stabbed her and when she was screaming and when he pulled her by the hair, threw her down and everything. They were in the room, shouting. I didn’t pay much attention, I was sleeping too. Then mom started saying «you want to kill me» and he said «put the little one inside» and then mom started running and he hit her after that. It was me and my brother, he’s 13 years old. I don’t know what to say, it was sudden. I don’t know what to think. They had a fight about this issue and mom said «we better get divorced» and he left for two days, mom didn’t kick him out, he just left on his own and then came back after two days and told us «I regret it» and all that but we believed him. I don’t want to see him in front of me again.
