Sources from the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection report that due to the very high fire risk forecast for tomorrow, Minister Giannis Kefalogiannis has ordered increased readiness across the entire state mechanism in areas classified as risk category 4, specifically in the Regions:
- Thessaly (Larissa Regional Unit, Magnesia Regional Unit),
- Central Greece (Phthiotis Regional Unit, Phocis Regional Unit, Boeotia Regional Unit, Euboea Regional Unit),
- Attica (including the island of Kythira),
- Western Greece (Achaia Regional Unit),
- Peloponnese (Corinthia Regional Unit, Argolis Regional Unit, Laconia Regional Unit, Arcadia Regional Unit) and Crete (Chania Regional Unit).

According to the same sources, the operational plan designed for danger index 4 is being fully implemented, with additional measures including aerial surveillance with loaded aircraft, helicopter redeployment with Forest Commando teams to Kythira throughout the day, deployment of headquarters personnel to strengthen local forces, doubling of patrols, and deployment of Armed Forces construction equipment.
