Criminal lawyer Apostolos Lytras spoke about the boat accident he had with his wife in Santorini on Tuesday, stating that “it was evening, one of our engines shut down, apparently due to bad fuel.”
“The boat went to the left, the steering wheel wasn’t working and we hit a reef,” he explained, speaking to the newspaper “Ta Nea.”
The result of the collision was water entering the interior of the boat, causing it to sink. During the incident, the criminal lawyer’s wife was also slightly injured, and both received first aid when they reached shore.
Following the procedure required in such cases, Apostolos Lytras was formally arrested but released shortly after. The prosecutor was informed about the incident from the first moment.
