The news hit like a bolt from the blue that the well-known former police officer who had become famous through his TikTok account was arrested by authorities for drug offenses.

The 33-year-old, who has a TikTok account with more than 270,000 followers -expressing views on social issues-, has been detained since early Monday morning, August 4th at the Internal Affairs Directorate, with charges being filed against him.
The former police officer was arrested along with another individual, while 150-200 grams of cocaine were found in their possession. At his home, authorities also discovered anabolic pills, ammunition, scales, and his police badge which he had not returned because he claimed to have lost it before resigning.
He was under surveillance for a long time
The former police officer had been decorated for his service, as he had mentioned in TikTok videos. According to sources, the 33-year-old was under investigation by Internal Affairs before he resigned from the Greek Police Force.
He had been awarded for his work protecting abused women
The former police officer had been recognized for his work protecting abused women and vulnerable children, and had helped in the arrest of a 43-year-old pedophile in Piraeus.
He allegedly drove a known businessman’s car on Syngrou Avenue at excessive speed
The arrested individual is allegedly the same person who was driving a well-known businessman’s sports car last April on Syngrou Avenue at excessive speed.
They had been monitoring him for some time
According to sources, Internal Affairs had been monitoring him for some time, as they had information about his illegal activities and do not rule out that he resigned from the police force because he possibly realized something was wrong. The former police sergeant remains in custody with charges being filed against him, which will lead him to the prosecutor.
