“Since that moment I can’t eat or sleep, I keep thinking about her constantly,” says the man of Egyptian origin who found the 3-year-old girl dead at Eden Beach in Palaio Faliro.
“I had gone for a walk on the beach and saw something by the buoys and got scared. I went over, grabbed it and it was frozen cold,” the man initially stated, speaking to ANT1.
“I asked for help from a couple, as soon as they saw it they got scared and left, just like an elderly man who was next to them. Then they called the police and I told them I have a dead child in the sea,” he continues to describe, adding that he gave testimony to authorities for hours.
