New details are coming to light regarding the escape plan of the 32-year-old mother to Algeria, who was tracked down by Greek police in connection with the case of the 3-year-old girl found dead on a beach in Paleo Faliro. According to MEGA, the 32-year-old was planning to flee abroad after abandoning the child.
Specifically, it appears that the woman, just two days after the discovery of the child’s body on the beach, contacted the Algerian embassy. In this phone call, she informed them that she had two children and wanted to return to the country.
They informed her that the only way to do this was to contact the International Organization for Migration. The 32-year-old contacted them and even scheduled an appointment.
However, she didn’t make it to the meeting as she was arrested by authorities.
Investigation continues
Meanwhile, investigations surrounding the case continue, as authorities have focused on the 32-year-old’s mobile phone, from which significant findings may emerge for solving the case.
