Grief has been caused by the news of the death of Yannis Artopoulos, a close collaborator of Konstantinos Argyros, in a car accident that occurred on the Egnatia Highway, just outside Grevena, heading towards Ioannina. The 51-year-old lost his life on Saturday, August 2, while traveling to Preveza, where a concert by the famous singer was scheduled for that same evening.
Konstantinos Argyros: Touching tribute after collaborator’s death – “The concert is dedicated to his memory”
The concert will take place tonight and Konstantinos Argyros, with a new announcement on his personal Instagram account, revealed that the concert will be dedicated to his collaborator, wanting to honor his memory. “Tonight we’re not just singing. We’re honoring the memory of a person who was lost on the way to support this concert, Yannis. Together with the production, the sound company and all the people working for this evening, we all spoke together as a team and decided that tonight we will work united for Yannis.
The concert is dedicated to his memory. As a minimum gesture of respect, we have committed – producers, technicians, artists – to offer support to Yannis’s family. Because behind every light, every sound and every note, there are people. And we don’t forget that”.
