The 32-year-old Algerian woman accused of causing her 4-year-old child’s death was brought to the courts of the former Evelpidon School shortly after 10:15 AM. Escorted by two coast guard officers, the woman crossed the threshold of the Athens First Instance Prosecutor’s Office for the execution of the arrest warrant issued against her. The defendant, dressed in white pants, a black shirt, and a baseball cap, faces the most serious charges of premeditated murder in a calm mental state and domestic dangerous bodily harm.
After the warrant was executed, she was brought before the investigating judge. Since she was not accompanied by a lawyer, she requested and received a postponement to testify next Wednesday. Until then, she remains in custody.
