A bloody attack occurred in the early hours of Saturday at the infirmary of Trikala Prison, when a Greek prisoner attacked a foreign cellmate from Pakistan with a sharp object, seriously injuring him.
The perpetrator then attempted to set himself on fire by igniting a mattress, trying to prevent correctional officers from entering the cell, according to trikalaenimerosi.gr
