New evidence is coming to light regarding the death of Giorgos Mazzonakis and the medical clinic on Karneadou Street, where the well-known singer drew his last breath.
Star TV has brought to light photographic evidence from inside the detained doctor’s clinic, revealing disposable medical supplies, bottles of saline solution, gauze, and IV catheters.
Mazzonakis: Documents from the clinic where he died
According to the relevant report, an inspection was carried out by a Medical Association committee on the day following Giorgos Mazzonakis’s death — September 10 — however, no vial containing an anesthetic substance was found on the premises.
Given that the nurse working at the clinic officially told investigators that the singer had been administered sedation, the key question now is: where was this substance, and why was it not found during the inspection? As a result, authorities are now closely examining whether this particular substance was deliberately disposed of — along with other potential pieces of evidence.
It should be noted that the clinic’s staff admitted to cleaning the room just minutes after the singer was transferred to Elpis Hospital.
The second IV catheter, the missing documents, and the vanished substances
Adding to the mounting questions, the second IV catheter that had been inserted into the singer also remains unaccounted for. The doctor initially claimed she had not had time to place it — a statement she later retracted, admitting that the plasmapheresis treatment on Giorgos Mazzonakis had already begun.
