A drifting vessel was spotted by the Coast Guard off the coast of Kalymnos. The incident occurred in the Therma sea area of Kalymnos, when a Bulgarian-flagged sailing vessel experienced mechanical failure and became adrift. According to reports, three Bulgarian nationals were aboard the sailing vessel.
The Kalymnos Port Authority was notified by the Unified Coordination and Rescue Center of the Coast Guard Headquarters and immediately dispatched a patrol boat to the scene.
The vessel was subsequently guided to safety and anchored outside Kalymnos harbor, while all passengers are reported to be in good health.
