A 4-year-old child is being treated on a ventilator in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of PAGNI Hospital in Heraklion, Crete after being urgently transferred late Thursday evening from Chania.
According to information from ekriti.gr, the child, under unknown circumstances, consumed a quantity of fuel oil and was initially transferred in critical condition to Chania General Hospital. Medical staff there decided to transfer the child to PAGNI Hospital, where they are currently receiving intensive care treatment in the Pediatric ICU.
