A parked car on Tinou Street, in the Kypseli neighborhood of Athens, was completely destroyed after a fire broke out in an electric scooter and rapidly spread to the vehicle.
According to eyewitness accounts from local residents, a loud explosion-like sound was heard first, after which the scooter and the car were immediately engulfed in flames. The intense heat also caused a tire blowout on a second vehicle that was parked on the opposite side of the street.
