Gunshots were fired during a clash on Tuesday afternoon, July 22, in Nea Peramos, near the Megalos Pefkos military camp. A parked car with two occupants, both Roma aged 27 and 33, was at the scene. Around 5:00 PM, two other vehicles with an unknown number of people approached the car and attacked the two Roma men.

When one of the perpetrators drew a weapon and fired five shots into the air, the attackers fled in an unknown direction and the two men who were attacked went to the Megara Criminal Investigation Directorate.
Nea Peramos: Both men who were attacked also arrested
After searches in the area, two people were brought in from the Mandra overpass and their involvement in the Nea Peramos incident is being investigated. This concerns a 46-year-old Roma man and a woman of the same age. At the same time, another 46-year-old was arrested for complicity in attempted murder, threats and simple bodily harm, for the attack carried out by his son, who is wanted. Finally, the two men who were attacked were also arrested because there were pending court decisions against them.
