Local authorities in Hersonissos, Crete, have arrested a hotel manager following a complaint filed by a 16-year-old worker of Albanian origin, who alleged physical assault, verbal abuse, and threats, according to a report by neakriti.gr. According to the minor’s account, the man struck him on the back, insulted him, and made threatening remarks. The incident is reported to have taken place on the morning of Wednesday, July 8, after which the young worker went to the Hersonissos Police Department accompanied by his parents to formally file the complaint.
Following the minor’s complaint, police proceeded to arrest the hotel manager. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances under which the alleged incident took place.
