In very critical condition and intubated, the 17-year-old patient from the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic continues to be hospitalized in the 2nd intensive care unit (ICU) of Thessaloniki’s “Papanikolaou” hospital. Approximately three weeks ago, she attempted suicide by jumping from the first floor of the hospital in a desperate leap into the void.

According to well-informed sources from parapolitika.gr, the 17-year-old suffered a liver rupture, an extremely serious injury. Despite the initial optimism of doctors and nurses at the “Papanikolaou” 2nd ICU, who are making superhuman and continuous efforts to keep the minor alive, medical staff now express deep concern about the progression and final outcome of the teenager’s health condition.
It should be noted that the 17-year-old fell from a window of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic at “Papanikolaou,” while the entire clinic is completely secured perimetrically with bars on the windows.
