A total of 34 agricultural and forest fires broke out across the country in the past twenty-four hours. Of these, 31 were brought under control in the initial stage thanks to the immediate intervention of the Fire Service, while three blazes remain active and are still ongoing.
Meanwhile, investigative offices of local services, as well as teams from the Arson Crime Investigation Division, have undertaken the investigation into the causes of the fires.
Finally, the Fire Service calls on all citizens to be particularly careful and, in case of fire, for their own safety, to faithfully follow the instructions of the competent authorities.
