New details emerge about the attack on a woman following an intense argument with a driver at the borders of Kamatero and Ilion. According to information broadcast by the show “Truths with Zina,” the man caught on video assaulting the woman reportedly had a pending prosecutor’s order for involuntary psychiatric hospitalization, without having been located by the competent authorities until then. After the incident, the woman went to the local police station where she filed charges for dangerous bodily harm.
Police launched an investigation utilizing the video footage and details of the vehicle appearing in the video. Through the license plates, they initially located the car’s owner, a woman of Albanian origin residing in Rafina. She reportedly explained that she had sold the vehicle to the specific man, but the transfer process had not been completed, resulting in the car still appearing under her name. From the information she provided to authorities, police managed to identify and locate the perpetrator.
Video evidence from the Ilion attack
The incident occurred following an argument between the two drivers on a narrow street. In documentary video footage presented by the show, the dialogue between the two drivers has been recorded: “Listen to me, because I’m a professional driver, listen to what the traffic code says. You turn, you check, you stay diagonal, you signal. From behind you maintain a safe distance and then you enter. I’m not going to reverse 100 meters,” the accused is heard telling the female driver.
When she replied that it wasn’t 100 meters and that when he saw her he accelerated, an intense argument began, which culminated in the attack against the woman, with the man eventually reversing and leaving.
Police are examining all elements of the case, while the woman who suffered the attack has already given testimony to authorities.
