An alarm was raised Thursday morning (11/6), when during a voyage from Kos to Piraeus, a 71-year-old passenger on a Greek-flagged vessel lost consciousness. According to reports, upon the ship’s arrival at Piraeus port, the elderly man was transported by ambulance to the University General Hospital “Attikon,” where his death was confirmed.

The 1st Port Division of Tzelepis of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus, which is conducting the preliminary investigation, has ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Forensic Medical Service of Piraeus.
