A 4-year-old girl is on life support in the pediatric ICU of Heraklion University Hospital in critical condition after being hit by a truck along with her father in Heraklion, Crete.

Specifically, according to information from “Star,” the minor is being treated under sedation and has sustained severe traumatic brain injuries and a fractured femur.
The accident occurred outside the hospital where the 4-year-old is now being treated, while she and her father were crossing a pedestrian crossing. However, the agricultural vehicle driven by a 57-year-old man did not stop and struck them.

The father sustained minor injuries and received first aid treatment before being discharged. The 4-year-old girl, however, remains in critical but stable condition in the ICU, with serious head and leg injuries, causing concern for both her family and medical staff.
The truck driver was arrested by police authorities as part of the immediate arrest procedure. Heraklion Traffic Police are investigating the exact causes of the accident.
