An armed robbery occurred on Monday evening (14/7) at a betting shop in the Toumba area of Thessaloniki. According to information from grtimes.gr, the perpetrator was a 19-year-old man who burst into the shop with his face covered, wielding a knife.
Under threat of the weapon, he demanded money from the employee’s cash register. The entire scene was captured by the shop’s security camera.
