Tragedy in Halkidiki. At approximately 6 PM on Tuesday, July 15, a 13-month-old boy from Serbia who was with his 31-year-old father and 32-year-old mother at a store in Ormos Panagias, choked or suffered allergic shock from a peanut.
Halkidiki: The baby suffered multiple cardiac arrests
An ambulance was called to the scene and initially transferred the child to the Health Center of Agios Nikolaos and then to the General Hospital of Polygyros in Halkidiki. Despite the efforts of paramedics and doctors to keep the child alive, the baby did not survive, suffered multiple cardiac arrests and died the same evening.
The autopsy results will shed light on the circumstances of death, specifically whether it was choking from a peanut or allergic shock from a peanut, while a preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Polygyros Police Station.
