Shortly after 1 PM, the 12-year-old boy who was hit by a car early this morning, Thursday (07/05), while riding an electric scooter in Aspropyrgos was transferred to “Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital.
His health condition remains extremely critical, as he has sustained severe traumatic brain injuries, fractures and serious chest trauma. The serious traffic accident occurred on Thrasyvoulou Street under circumstances that remain unclear.
The minor, as parapolitika.gr reported earlier, was initially transferred to the emergency department of Thriasio Hospital, where doctors proceeded with intubation due to the severity of his injuries. Subsequently, it was deemed necessary to transport him by EKAV ambulance to “Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital, where he is expected to undergo surgery.
The relevant authorities are investigating the exact causes of the traffic accident.
