In Patras, the 89-year-old man who opened fire at a social security office (EFKA) and Court of Appeals earlier on Tuesday (28/04) was located and arrested, after injuring five people. According to reports, the elderly man apparently traveled to Patras in an attempt to escape to Italy. Notably, the perpetrator was armed with a loaded .38 revolver. Specifically, the elderly man who was wanted for the armed incidents in Athens that shocked the entire nation was located early in the afternoon by officers from the Immediate Action Unit of the Achaia Police Department, near the KTEL bus station at a hotel in the area.
