Police were alerted on Tuesday morning (28/4) following a shooting incident at a building housing social security services (EFKA) in the Kerameikos district of Athens.
According to initial reports, an elderly man entered the premises carrying a rifle and opened fire, fortunately without causing injuries to employees or citizens.
The perpetrator subsequently fled the scene, while authorities have launched an operation to locate and arrest him.
