Following the brutal murder of 20-year-old Kleomenis on the evening of March 12th in the Kalamaria area of Thessaloniki, his father Asterios Alitsios appeared in court today, describing how he is experiencing the loss of his son. Specifically, accompanied by his lawyer and technical advisor-forensic pathologist Dimitris Galenteris, he visited the 1st regular investigator of Thessaloniki handling the murder case file of Kleomenis in Kalamaria and filed a civil action to support the prosecution.

“I want justice for my child,” he stated immediately after, speaking to journalists. He explained that he is experiencing very difficult moments, while expressing his trust in Greek Justice. Meanwhile, the victim’s father’s lawyer submitted a request to the investigator for new prosecutions regarding the murder case of the 20-year-old, for which a 23-year-old has been charged and remanded in custody. “What is required is to clarify the circumstances both of the murder and after the murder,” stated his advocate Nikos Alexandris.
