It should be noted that one suspect is a 17-year-old who was first to confess his involvement in the crime, while shortly after, the second person (18-year-old) involved in the brutal crime was also arrested. As police spokesperson Konstantia Dimoglidou stated, “police reached the solution through video footage of the perpetrators leaving the scene. From the video they could see that there were two people who participated in the fatal assault of the man.”
Regarding the two suspects’ claims that the murder occurred after an argument because the singer had no money to pay for drugs he had requested from them, Ms. Dimoglidou said “there is information from their testimony that mentions drug dealing, this is being investigated by police to see if this is indeed the case.”
She also revealed that “one of the two, according to their confession, fatally wounded the man and they left the scene together, while both accept the charges.” Finally, she clarified that “based on current information, the house owner is not connected to the crime, he was brought in, provided information and was released.”
The timeline
According to information, the singer was in a residence that had been provided to him by a man so he could meet with a woman. During his stay at the house, he reportedly contacted the two young individuals, asking them to supply him with a quantity of cocaine.
However, when the two young men arrived at the location, an intense argument broke out as the singer told them he had no money to pay them. The tension escalated, resulting in the perpetrators attacking him with a knife, fatally wounding him.
