Authorities in Thessaloniki arrested three individuals in connection with a steroid trafficking and dietary supplement case, including a well-known bodybuilder from TikTok. Specifically, the criminal organization was dismantled by the Northern Greece Organized Crime Unit, which was operating in the supply, use and trafficking of anabolic preparations and dietary supplements containing substances banned by the National Organization for Medicines.
As revealed by the investigation, the defendants operated a joint gym as well as a store where they sold illegal anabolic preparations and dietary supplements, while also maintaining a website to promote their activities and products.
According to the police announcement, authorities seized 5,263 capsules and tablets, 362 injectable vials and nearly 16 kilograms of anabolic powder, pharmaceutical preparations and dietary supplements, along with an air pistol, blank revolver and a quantity of raw cannabis.

The Northern Greece Organized Crime Unit dismantled a criminal organization whose members were professionally involved in the supply and trafficking of anabolic preparations and dietary supplements not approved by the National Organization for Medicines (EOF), for the purpose of illegal financial gain.
Three (3) individuals were arrested in connection with this case, following an operation by Economic Crime Unit officers, which took place in the morning hours of Friday, March 20, 2026, in Thessaloniki.
As revealed by the investigation, the defendants operated a joint gym as well as a store where they sold illegal anabolic preparations and dietary supplements, while also maintaining a website to promote their activities and products.
These anabolic preparations were intended for athletes, aimed at improving their competitive disposition, ability and performance during athletic competitions or in preparation for participation in them. Additionally, they trafficked dietary supplements that were not approved by EOF, thereby seriously endangering users’ health.
In searches conducted at residences, the gym-store and in a vehicle, the following were found and seized:
-1,266- anabolic capsules and tablets,
-301- injectable anabolic vials,
-195- pharmaceutical preparation capsules,
-61- injectable pharmaceutical preparation vials,
-15,930- grams of dietary supplements in powder form, banned by EOF
-3,802- capsules and tablets of dietary supplements banned by EOF,
-3,490- euros,
documents, receipts and invoices,
air pistol,
blank gas revolver,
plastic container with raw cannabis (bud), gross weight -14.5- grams and
improvised raw cannabis cigarette.
The arrested individuals are being brought before the competent prosecutor’s office.
