The weather feels cooler today in most areas of the country, providing relief to residents and tourists due to the drop in temperature.

Specifically, according to the National Observatory of Athens, the weather has been cloudy since noon, while thermometers have not recorded more than 34 degrees. In fact, the highest temperatures for today were recorded:
- In Assos, Corinthia (34.4°C)
- In Xylokastro, Corinth (34.3°C) and
- In Gortyna, Heraklion (34.2°C)
However, the temperature drop and partial cloudiness did not deter Athenians and tourists from venturing out to southern suburb beaches to enjoy the sea and sun.
Weather forecast for tomorrow (12/07)
According to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service forecast, no significant change in weather is noted, with temperatures hovering around 35 degrees, while new cloud formations are expected.
Specifically, Saturday’s weather will be generally clear with sparse clouds over mainland areas, which will thicken during midday and afternoon in mountainous regions, when local showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms may develop in northern mountainous areas.
Temperature ranges will be as follows:
- in Western Macedonia from 14 to 30 degrees
- in the rest of Macedonia, Thrace and Thessaly from 20 to 35 degrees
- in Epirus from 15 to 34 degrees
- in the Ionian islands from 18 to 32 degrees
- in Central Greece from 18 to 35 degrees
- in the Peloponnese from 18 to 35 degrees
- in the North Aegean from 20 to 35 degrees
- in the Central and South Aegean from 21 to 33 degrees
- in the Dodecanese from 24 to 35 degrees
- in Crete from 18 to 34 degrees
Winds will blow from northwesterly directions at 3-4 Beaufort, and locally up to 5 Beaufort in the Aegean.
Attica
In Attica, the weather will be clear with sparse clouds during midday and afternoon. Winds will blow from northwesterly directions at 2-4 Beaufort.
Temperature will range from 19 to 35 degrees.
Thessaloniki
In Thessaloniki, clear weather is forecast with clouds in the morning hours. Winds will blow from northwesterly and gradually from southeasterly directions at 2-4 Beaufort. Temperature will range from 19 to 34 degrees.
