A man was found unconscious in the waters near Corinth, close to the harbor lighthouse. The Corinth Port Authority was notified of the incident on Saturday morning, March 7th, after the man was discovered by a fisherman.

Corinth: Death of 25-year-old man confirmed
Port Authority personnel immediately arrived at the scene and, with the assistance of a fishing vessel, recovered the man from the water. According to the Coast Guard announcement, the victim was a 25-year-old man.
The man was transported to Corinth General Hospital, where his death was confirmed. The Corinth Port Authority has ordered an autopsy and post-mortem examination to be conducted by the Peloponnese Forensic Service.
