A few days ago, Petros Filippidis attempted to go on the counterattack by filing a lawsuit against his first accuser, who had reported him for rape – a charge for which the actor was acquitted.

However, it should be noted that the actor has been convicted for two attempted rapes: one in 2010, at a theater venue, and one in 2014, inside a car in Paleo Psychiko.
The trial has been postponed to September 17, 2026. Petros Filippidis arrived at the courthouse accompanied by his wife, while at the start of the proceedings a request was made to set a new trial date as Ms. Pakirtridou was absent due to illness and Mr. Dimitrakopoulos was unavailable due to other felony cases he represents.
Petros Filippidis: Appeals to Supreme Court seeking acquittal
The accuser’s side, who was present in court, appeared to disagree with this proposal and insisted on proceeding with the case. After considerable discussion and deliberation, the bench decided to set a new trial date. As it has become known, the actor intends to appeal to the Supreme Court, continuing his legal battle for acquittal. As Michalis Dimitrakopoulos had mentioned in the past, Petros Filippidis is staying at a relative’s house after a fire broke out in the property he was renting during the summer. The actor is waiting for his pension to be finalized before making his final decisions.
