One death was the tragic outcome of a traffic accident that occurred earlier in Loutraki, when two motorcycles collided head-on. According to loutrakiblog.gr, the accident happened under currently unknown circumstances on the local road network, at the intersection of the German road toward the camping site.
Loutraki: 20-year-old dies after violent motorcycle collision
According to the report, one motorcycle driver suffered serious chest injuries from the violent collision. The 20-year-old driver succumbed to his injuries, while his peer passenger was injured and transported by ambulance from the National Emergency Care Center to Corinth General Hospital. The 60-year-old female driver of the second motorcycle, who was also injured in the crash, was taken to the same hospital. The exact causes of the accident are being investigated by police.
