Maria Karystianou made a post about the situation in the Middle East and the war raging in the region. The former president of the Tempe Victims Association called for all Greeks in the region to return safely to Greece, emphasizing that children, the entire civilian population, and their safety are the primary concern. She also commented that “war only brings suffering” and, in contrast, added that “peace is the greatest act of strength and responsibility.” She made the post amid the trial for the February 28 railway tragedy at Tempe, regarding the video footage of the commercial train, which is unfolding at the Single-Member Misdemeanor Court of Larissa.
