The 38-year-old partner of the murdered 31-year-old pregnant woman in Kolonos has been arrested. Police authorities have clear evidence of his involvement in the murder of his 31-year-old pregnant partner and are proceeding with the arrest of the 38-year-old man, despite the fact that he allegedly denies killing the unfortunate woman.
This is the shocking story of the incident that occurred last Saturday (28/2) when around 15:30 in the afternoon, the ambulance service was notified about the serious injury of a 31-year-old woman in the Kolonos area, specifically on Kallikratidou Street. Paramedics arrived immediately, but it appears it was too late. The initial scenario suggested that the unfortunate woman fell down the stairs, however the injuries indicated something different. A forensic pathologist arrived at the scene and expressed serious doubts during the autopsy.

Police forces proceeded with the detention of the 38-year-old partner of the pregnant woman (she was approximately 4 months pregnant) and began a marathon interrogation. Officers from the Kolonos Security Division and the Athens Security Subdivision found several gaps in the 38-year-old’s narrative and, combined with evidence collected from the scene, concluded that the alleged perpetrator was involved in this tragedy.
According to parapolitika.gr sources, area residents reportedly claim that domestic violence incidents were very frequent. Despite the fact that the couple’s arguments often disturbed the neighborhood, none of the neighbors had the courage to notify authorities. So far, it has not been revealed whether any complaints were filed in the past.
The 38-year-old man is now being taken to court and is expected to face the most serious charges, primarily premeditated murder. This will depend on the findings of the preliminary investigation, as there is information suggesting that the alleged perpetrator left the woman helpless for a considerable time before deciding to call the ambulance service. It should be noted that the forensic pathologist who conducted the autopsy is expected to testify before judicial authorities, testimony that is expected to be decisive for the criminal prosecution of the 38-year-old.
