The case of the murder of a 17-year-old in Loutraki has been solved, as Friday afternoon (27/2) a peer of his was arrested as the alleged perpetrator. Meanwhile, authorities also proceeded to arrest the 57-year-old mother of the minor, on charges of negligent supervision of a minor. According to the Hellenic Police, a violent altercation preceded between the alleged perpetrator and a 19-year-old, who was injured. In his attempt to intervene and separate them, the 17-year-old was stabbed in the chest, resulting in his fatal injury. Authorities continue their investigations for the complete clarification of the incident’s circumstances.

“A domestic minor was arrested this afternoon (27.2.2026) by officers from the Crime Detection and Investigation Department of Corinth, in cooperation with officers from the Loutraki Police Department. Criminal charges have been filed against him for homicide, attempted homicide and violation of weapons legislation.
Regarding the chronology of the case, today (27.2.2026) in the early morning hours, the arrested individual, together with 4 other people – a 19-year-old and 2 18-year-olds of Greek nationality, as well as a foreign minor – initially went to an area in Loutraki to resolve disputes among themselves.
Subsequently, after an intense argument between the accused and the 19-year-old, the accused attacked him using a sharp object, resulting in his injury. During the attempt by the others to stop them, the perpetrator also attacked and fatally wounded the foreign minor, before fleeing the scene.
The 19-year-old victim was transferred to a hospital and remains hospitalized, while an autopsy of the deceased’s body has been ordered.
Additionally, for the same case, a 57-year-old foreign woman, mother of the minor perpetrator, was arrested for negligent supervision.
The arrested individual will be brought before the appropriate authorities, while the police investigation and preliminary examination are being conducted by the Crime Detection and Investigation Department of Corinth.”
