The trial of the well-known manager of models and artists, who was arrested after a police chase in the Kifissia area, has been postponed until tomorrow. The manager is charged with dangerous driving and disobedience to authorities, charges he denies.
What the famous manager claimed
“Is it possible to race with my little Smart car? I was going home and saw a car following me. The car only reaches 60 kilometers per hour, I was afraid they might be criminals. I wasn’t drunk, and the police didn’t find anything in the car. I’ve been robbed 25 times, that’s why I was scared,” the 72-year-old defendant told the court.
The defendant requested a postponement to prepare his defense and be represented by his lawyer who was absent from court today. When asked about his profession, he replied that he now helps his brother in real estate, while in the past he has done various jobs, worked in television, and previously as a waiter. The prosecutor proposed that the trial be postponed until tomorrow and the defendant remain in custody, a proposal adopted by the court.
Criminal charges filed against the 72-year-old
Earlier, the prosecutor filed criminal charges for dangerous driving and disobedience against the well-known 72-year-old manager, who was arrested in the early hours in the Kifissia area following a police chase.
