A serious incident occurred in the early hours on Kifissos Avenue, when an elderly man reportedly fell from a pedestrian bridge, losing his life.
The incident was recorded at approximately 02:15, in the traffic flow towards Piraeus, just before the Petrou Ralli exit. During his fall, the man was struck by a passing truck and dismembered, resulting in his fatal injury.
Traffic police forces and an ambulance from the National Emergency Medical Service rushed to the scene. According to initial information and statements that have been taken, authorities are seriously examining the possibility of suicide.
